Percent of recruited athletes in early decision acceptance

I’ve seen many people say a large percentage of early decision at many schools (I’m mostly directing this at small liberal arts schools like Middlebury) are recruited athletes and legacies. Does anyone have an estimated percentage of how many recruited athletes are accepted early decision and/or what percent of students are not these athletes? Thanks

I don’t have first-hand info, but you might find these interesting.

In any given year, about 25 percent of the incoming class is recruited athletes…In 2014, 44 percent of Early Decision 1 applicants who enrolled were recruited athletes.

Almost 95% of recruited athletes will apply early decision at an institution. This is a way for the coach to know that the athlete is reciprocating the effort they are making to bring a player to their school.

It is important to remember that this is a college admission process with an athletic component, not an athletic recruiting process that comes with the opportunity to attend college.
