Percentiles and Score

I was just wondering, when applying to schools will the Admission Council look at the composite score, or will they look at the percentiles? Which is more important?

I know that higher the score = higher percentiles, but would they be like “Oh, this student got a 22” as opposed to “Oh, this student got a 22, but is in the nth percentile.”

Thanks!

usually look at composite

Admissions people generally know what scores generally correspond to what percentiles…it doesn’t change much from one test administration to another. It’s not like they will get all exercised because someone was in the 86th percentile as compared to the 84th percentile.

Mostly the composite is the only thing considered
