I was notified by my school a few days ago that I received a perfect score on the AP Computer Science test that I took last year (Every point on the test, not just a 5). Is there any sort of recognition for this, and is it something that I can put on a college application? I’m currently a junior and I’m planning to major in Computer Science. I’m shooting for a top-tier CS school.
Nice job!! Make sure your guidance counselor knows. They could put it in their recommendation for you.
Congratulations! Well done.
I don’t believe there is any formal recognition. You can certainly mention it when you list your AP scores on your Common Application. I second the idea of having a GC or teacher mention it in their recommendation as well.
You can certainly list this as an honor/award on your Common Application and other college apps. I’m pretty sure the CollegeBoard will mail you a letter of recognition for this.
Some schools put out a press release, since perfect AP scores are quite rare.
Good suggestions above - just wanted to say congratulations! Whoa! =D>
