<p>Just out of curiosity, where do these purely academic people go? Everyone says that a perfect SAT/ACT or a perfect GPA doesn’t get you into a highly ranked college, but where exactly do these people go? I’m talking about the people who just study all day, 4.0 UW gpa, 2400 SAT/36 ACT, but with no extracurriculars, leadership positions, etc.</p>
<p>They go crazy. Really, if you’re going to lock yourself in your room and study all day and do nothing else at all, that’s what will happen.</p>
<p>Maybe not study all day, but a couch potato who does nothing, but studies enough to get a 4.0 UW/2400 SAT.</p>
