i am struggling with my commonapp essay and have to submit it within oct 30 and not started yet.
i am thinking to describe the place or environment where i feel prefectly content as Grand Theft Auto, a video game. where one can do almost everything.
will this essay work ? please give me suggestions!</p>

<p>I wouldn’t recommend using GTA, given it’s reputation for violence and sex. I love the game, but I don’t think that gives a very good impression at all to a college if you say you love the freedom in a place that encourages such brutal violence</p>

<p>I have to agree with the others, GTA doesn’t really have a place in admissions essays regardless of how amazing it is. If you were to use a game, I would suggest using one that is very close to your heart. For me, its Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest series, Pokemon series, etc. Something you kept from your childhood and is appropriate.</p>
<p>Super Mario would also be acceptable.</p>
<p>GTA has a negative reputation, those characteristics will only cloud your readers mind’s.</p>
