<p>I am in my sophomore year as a BFA MT major and I am looking for internships in the DC area. There is a good chance I will have to be spending my summer up there and I would really love to do some work in the area. It would help a lot if it is a place I can reach by the Metro or Metro Bus. It does not matter if they provide housing since I will be living at my aunt’s house. I have been searching for awhile but I have only found a few (Adventure Theatre being one of them). I know that this metropolitian area has a LOT of theatres but not many seem to have acting/performance internships. Any help would be appreciated!!!</p>
<p>Hi! I live in DC, and one of the things I love about it is the huge theatre scene here! That said, there are tons of options; you just have to research them. If you join the DC Performing Arts League Group on Facebook, there is a list of all the theaters in the DC Metropolitan area, with links next to every theater. I would recommend looking at that first. Good Luck!</p>
<p>Look at Signature Theatre (2009 Tony winning regional!) in Arlington, VA and Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA.</p>
