<p>I had a very hard time in high school with being bullied because I am gay and that really took a toll on my concentration and subsequently my grades. The bullying culminated in one of the school rednecks trying to hit me with his car. Also, when someone called my parents and told them that I’m gay, they said I could stay with them as long as “I didn’t pull any of that gay **** under their roof” or move out. </p>
<p>This might all sound ridiculous to you. But I can assure you its no joke. So I ask you. Should I focus my personal essay around this or put it in the additional information section?</p>
