Personal letter from admissions

<p>An admissions officer who read my app sent me a letter last week saying how much she enjoyed reading my app, mentioned my essay, and was overall impressed. I was accepted, btw. Out of curiousity, I wonder if this is common at all? It wasn’t completely generic, but I wonder if some officers do this a lot?</p>

<p>Too bad I didn’t impress them enough to get a scholarship, though!</p>

<p>They only give need-based aid, so if you didn’t get money it has nothing to do with how much you did or didn’t impress them.</p>
