<p>As an international student, I am not used to writing personal statements and I just don’t know how to start it. I’ve read somwhere that an anecdote can be a good start. So I was wondering if telling a story about how I sneaked in a political event after faking to be a journalist and ended up sitting side by side with Paris’ mayor can be a good anecdote? </p>
