<p>You’re thinking too much into this whole thing… if the two people that you told your stats to are treating you different now than before, don’t mind them. It’s not worth your time, and I’m sure they won’t do anything with your name.</p>
<p>listen, who cares what they think. Here’s an advice from me. What I would do, is email Rice with a question you have on your mind. Once some admissions person answers you, save his/her email address. Periodically email him/her with relevant questions as well as problems you may be facing (i.e. that ACT problem you had previously). This is EXTREME interest and they like that. I talked with Amy Atcheson, and she emailed me saying she liked my enthusiam. And I’m in. I don’t want to make it sound like it was my enthusiam that got me in the door because I highly doubt it was but it was definitely a plus.</p>
