Peter Pan Peanut Butter

I still can’t believe my all time favorite PB tried to do me bodily harm. Hope they make a comeback soon, Skippy just isn’t making the trip.

I’m still eating my Peter Pan, and it was the recalled batch number too. I bought it in bulk and I can’t really convince myself to throw it away. I had already made several batches of peanut butter cookies and sandwiches with this stuff (and fed it to young children, no less) before the contamination news came out. They were fine.

This ought to be moved to the Cafe. It’s not remotely college-related.

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago in which the health experts warned that contamination may not be evenly distributed, even in the same jar. I threw mine away after that.

Take the lid to your supermarket and get a refund/replacement.

Peanut butter is poison. I don’t know why people even like that stuff.
