<p>How accurate and reliable are the Peterson’s College Money Handbook and the Collegeboard’s College Handbook? the only thing I’m not sure is if both books are updated every year. I have the 2007 edition and the 2008 edition. but I don’t know if they change the stats every year as things change.</p>
<p>In terms of costs? Well remember than many colleges now-a-days have need blind admissions and are also able to pay for your ‘demonstrated need.’ I think the best thing to do is find the colleges that interest you, and then check their individual websites. I think CB only shows tuition, and not the entire cost… though I could be mistaken.</p>
