pg 217

Is this supposed to be something we’ve done in the past (page 300 would be me at age 18) or should we write about something that has yet to happen? Can it just be an exerpt from our life something that happened a few years ago that was meaningful?

I think it’s probably open to your interpretation. The idea is for them to get to know who you are, in a relatively mundane part of your life. I doubt that your admission decision will be make or break with when exactly you want to talk about. I personally, would interpret it as page 300 as you being an 18 year old (since they probably don’t want some fictional garbage on what you plan to do; unless you can weave that in with some real experiences or something).

thanks, but does the page have to be mundane exerpt from my life? can it be a life changing event that took place?

back in the day i wrote my pg 217 essay about how i cured cancer.

it really doesn’t matter if it’s you now or it’s you as an old person, but the essay doesn’t do much good if it’s boring…

I was wondering this same thing! I totally interpreted it as me writing about myself when I am old and gray, but my sister was assuming I’d write something about freshman year, or middle school.
I guess since it’s all hypothetical, I can do whatever?
