Pretty much, stevems93. The schools usually admit students who are on their own internal wait list and already attending that school for undergrad. I know that at our state U’s early assurance program, the university accepts 25 into the program and puts another 5-8 on the wait list and it’s those students who are admitted to the program if someone drops outs. (And it’s a BIG if since there is a built-in drop out allowance for the program. University admits 25 into the program with the assumption that only 15 will actually matriculate into the professional portion of the program. So transfers would be only considered if the program’s enrollment drops below 15 and the university has exhausted its wait list.)

I did now know about any of these programs until after i had decided to go to Pharmacy school or else i would have applied to them
I was clueless about it
And now all i do is stress over them and still dont know what to major in college

Quit stressing (a waste of time) and start studying (much better use of time). Start taking your general level chemistry, biology, calculus, physics classes. In a year’s time, you’ll be in a better position to decide on a major.

Could i fill my pharmacy school/Medical School requirements with my general education?

OP has started another thread about Pharm/Med school- won’t listen, sigh…

haha im sorry im just so mad and nervous, worried about every single thing

It’s normal to be confused when you are starting out. And it is good that you are asking a lot of questions. Now, take a breath, get started at UCR, find those counselors that I have been referring you to, and see what happens!

Will due will due
