I am a sophmore in high school and I want to know what good pharmacy schools are available preferrably in the Southeast arrea of the U.S. Also what are good areas to major in prior to pharmacy school? Thanks in advance.

Pharmacy has a lot of chemistry in it. Microbiology would be helpful too.

UNC Chapel Hill probably has the second best pharamcy school in the country
there’s also Virginia Commonwealth Univ., Medical Univ. of South Carolina, Univ. Georgia, Mercer Univ, SOuth Carolina College of Pharmacy

Why don’t you just apply as a Prepharmacy major and get a Pharm. D in 6 years?

Pre-pharms usually major in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or another related field.
