<p>Hi All,
does anyone know of any PhD programs that involve engineering for the developing world. I know of Amy Smith at MIT but she does a lot of mechanical engineering. I was looking for more of a PhD program involving designing medical devices for the developing world. David Edwards(harvard) was of interest but seems to be more well suited for a materials engineer. Also, I'm not sure that he works with graduate students. Any thoughts? Thanks
