<p>They supposedly match the sample to the person who registered the kit by the barcode on the test tube, so hopefully there is a reasonable chance its mine. Since the whole thing was a birthday gift I am putting about as much stock into the results as I spent on the kit.</p>

<p>Thought I’d report that I just got my preliminary results. Nothing too surprising- so far just have my maternal line (which was what we expected).
Ran the results through prometheus and got some things I expected- greatly increased risk of Graves for example and some things I didn’t- such as it predicting that I am a red head (I’m a brunette). The take away for me is- I have ginger genes! I want nothing more than a ginger baby so there’s a chance! :smiley: LOL </p>
