I was wondering what the reputation of Phi Kappa Psi is around campus. Thanks!

Again, no one in the greek community is going to perpetuate the stereotypes. I’ll say it’s one of the more popular fraternities on campus, but that’s all I’m saying.

If you want to know about a chapter, the best way is to go and get to know the brothers.

I’m not looking for stereotypes, just general info. thanks!

Zach Braff was a Phi Kappa Psi at Northwestern, FWIW.

(sorry, posted too soon) Since I brought up celeb affiliations, here are some others - David Schwimmer was a Delta Tau Delta; Dermot Mulroney was a Fiji. We can do sororities too if you like :-)

^ please do pizzagirl. i’m interested

julia louis dreyfus was… a… DG?

Schwimmer was a Delt? That explains it. I have nothing against NW’s Delt…I just don’t like Delt at my school lol.

Zach Braff was a Phi Psi? damn. Now he’s the voice of Wendy’s!

Kimberly Williams (Father of the Bride, According to Jim) and Jeri Ryan were both Alpha Phis. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was a Delta Gamma, as was Mary Frann (Newhart) and Shelley Long (Cheers). Ann-Margret (a sex symbol in the 60’s) was a Theta, as is Cindy Chupack (writer for Sex and the City). Cloris Leachman (Mary Tyler Moore show) was a Gamma Phi Beta. Patricia Neal (older star) was a Pi Phi. As for the guys, I am pretty sure that both Warren Beatty and McLean Stevenson (MASH) were Fijis.

Again, its pretty pointless to just repeat stereotypes. Obviously its a house full of many very different individuals. If you’re on campus or coming soon, take the time to actually get to know the people. If you’re just looking to hear the word on the street point of view because your friend just pledged or something, here it is:

Nice guys, on the quiet side, down to earth. Don’t really hang out with the hottest girls or have a huge impact on the social scene, but seem to avoid being “toolish,” if that word means anything to you.
