Hi, I’m a current CCC student and I’ve been a part of my school’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter for about 6 months now. With most of the executive board leaving, I have received an offer to start training for the President position. This is great news. However, the chapter at my school is not that active. Considering this, would it be worth the the extra time commitment to undertake this position given the current status of the society’s activity? And to what magnitude would this help my admissions chances. Thank you.
A bit more info:
I currently have a 4.0 and plan on transferring to Berkeley Econ or UCLA Bus Econ.
It’s a leadership opportunity. This is important not only for your admissions chances, but for developing skills that you’ll need and benefit from for the rest of your life.
I’d do it if I were you.
^ Yep. Maybe you’ll be the one who makes it active on campus!
What CCC are you at?
