I recently got accepted into Phillips Andover Academy Summer Program and am having trouble picking dorm situations. I am a female attending 9GA What is the newest or nicest dorm with large single rooms? What are the personalities of each cluster? And what should I put in the Summer Session Housing Form to get that dorm?
Probably best to call/email the program director for this type of information.

The newest dorm is decades old. Most of the dorms are really converted houses. If you want a more traditional dorm, you’d answer the questions as though you are an outgoing gregarious person, but there’s no guarantee of a single.
Honestly, I want to be in Paul Revere Hall so how would I answer to get in that dorm?
I’m a teacher and I’m going to be blunt. If it’s my student asking these questions, I’d suggest that they start by using “please” and “thank you”. Next I’d ask them to construct a set of rules to decide how to assign the dorm rooms, and keep modifying until at least 80% of the class agree on those rules. Then they can see how likely they would be assigned the room they want.
