Philly ladies: day-before bridal party ideas?

My sister will be wed in a small, intimate ceremony - just close friends and family - in a few weeks in Philadelphia. Any recommendations for something I can do for her and a few close female family members the day before the wedding? Want to leave a few hours before the rehearsal dinner so she doesn’t feel rushed.

Thinking brunch or maybe a spa visit? She doesn’t drink so bars would be out.

Haven’t lived in Philly for several decades so any recommendations welcome on hip places! Thanks!

Is going out for a traditional tea a possibility? (Doesn’t sound very hip, I realize, but they’re fun.) We did this in a Victorian-themed tea room the day before one of my daughters got married. A quick Yelp search shows several of these in the Philly area with nice reviews. Sometimes champagne is available for those who enjoy it. Looking forward to the other suggestions on this thread!

What part of town?

@frazzled1 Tea! Brilliant! She loves tea!

In addition to the usual lunch/spa thing, you could consider a mural arts tour. Philly is known for its beautiful and interesting mural arts culture. You could do a private tour, a segway tour and other options:

You could tour a certain neighborhood then have lunch or brunch. For example, if you do Northern Liberties:

Just discovered that The Random Tea Room & Curiosity Shop has a massage studio attached. Maybe tea & massage then brunch nearby?

For most brides – even for those having small weddings – the day before the wedding is a stressful day filled with last minute tasks. I’d encourage you to consider planning your outing for a different day, or at least talking to the bride before making any plans.

@nottelling Yep. We are presenting an idea and plan to leave the afternoon free for her.
