<p>depends, it sounds like you go to an LACC. do you go to pierce? if you do, who is the prof that will be teaching that course?</p>
<p>i think it is best that you don’t take a philosophy writing class if you’re NOT a philosophy major. they write differently and you’ll either hate it, suck at it or find it to be the easiest writing style in your life.</p>
<p>if it is a legit philosophy 5 class, then you’ll be writing in a completely different way, which does NOT help you if you are some other humanities major. i have found that they typically don’t like the philosophy writing style. you may also have to read some philosophy, which may or may not be easy for you.</p>
<p>i suggest you just take English 102, unless you are a philosophy major.</p>
