I’m an incoming premed freshmen. I’m considering whether to take
Philosophy 4 or History 7A. Both classes interest me but History 7A satisfies
American History and American Cultures requirement and I already satisfied the American History requirement. Which class should I take?

Roush is supposed to be really good, and personally, I think philosophy 4 is very interesting. History 7a sounds okay to me, and a lot of it is good to know. I’ve not heard anything about the professor. I think it has a lot of reading. If satisfying the AH and AC requirements are big priorities for you, you could take it. The philosophy class probably satisfies something for you, such as the philosophy and values requirement. I would advise you to take whichever one interests you more.

Okay Thanks.
I think I’m just going to take Philosophy 4. I already satisfied the AH requirement and philosophy seems to be a bit more interesting.

Good choice. :D

I’m wierd - I’m taking History 7B first, then I want to go back and take History 7A later probably (damned Fall Extension only offers 7B!).

Einhorn is really, really good. She teaches 7A. I loved the course and I had one of the best GSIs ever.
