I am considering either of the two colleges listed in the title. I am a Philosophy major, looking to put emphasis on Law. I couldn’t find any relevant information on which school has a better program. Anyone have any insight that could provide useful in my decision?

Hey, I’m deciding between Fullerton and Long Beach and will be majoring in philosophy, too! I’ve compared both philosophy departments and Fullerton is pluralistic while Long Beach seems to have an analytic slant. Take a look at these two websites: [Courses Offered, Philosophy, CSULB](http://www.csulb.edu/colleges/cla/departments/philosophy/courses_offered/) and [Department of Philosophy - Major](http://hsswebdev.fullerton.edu/phil/academics/major.asp) Both Fullerton and Long Beach seem to adequately prepare a philosophy major who is studying in the subject as pre-law. Both departments offer a pre-law internship. In other words, they are pretty much similar. Feel free to hit me up.

After doing my own research, I came to essentially the same conclusions that you did as well. The CSULB Philosophy page seemed a bit incomplete in comparisons to the CSUF one so I was unsure. Unrelated to the major, I’m leaning more towards Fullerton, being that the atmosphere around Fullerton seems much more enjoyable. Of course, not to take anything away from Long Beach.
