<p>I found this philosophy video dismissing lots of myths/negative attitudes regarding majoring in philosophy. I hope this video will help with some of the doubts anyone has about it.</p>

<p>As for my own experience, I must say that the skills and content discussed in the video is very true (at least for me UCLA undergrad student philosophy major). It does in a way, force you to be able to communicate your ideas effectively and to think outside the box.</p>

<p>Thanks for that! I’ve been hoping to come across a video like that for a while. He answers so many questions that I’ve been annoyingly asked during my undergrad as a philosophy major, and even today. I need to just print out a thousand copies of that link and just hand them out to people because I’m so sick of explaining the value of philosophy to those who just don’t get it. I’m looking forward to studying more in grad school!</p>
