<p>How is the philosophy program at UCSD? Bad, Average Good?</p>

<p>In the top 20 nationally, but UCLA, Berkeley, and Irvine, in that order, are all better picks in the UC system. This is expected, as UCSD’s reputation is founded primarily on the sciences/engineering. Still, it beats USC, Yale, and UC Davis, among many others according to Gourmet.</p>

<p>So am I! But I think I’m going to NYU. UCSD is definitely better in the sciences. NYU is in a better location and it’s ranked #1 in philosophy! I can’t wait to start studying it…</p>
