<p>i have a picture of me “squishing” the white house. (i was standing in front of the gate & holding my thumb & index finger to make it look like it i could squish it). would the adcoms find this offense ?</p>

<p>LOL, I find that hilarious. I am sure some of them would love the humor. Still, as with all things of this nature, there’s always the risk of a particularly stern individual who will take offense. If the picture is truly you, of course go for it! If you can find another picture you love as much that would be safer, it’d prob be a wiser idea to go with that. But lol, you hafta post it for us to see!</p>

<p>would it be fine if i just pasted two pics … one of me squishig thewhite house & another one of just me, since we just have to paste it on to a word doc. </p>

<p>btw… it was part of my photo essay … “michelle takes on american government” … i’ve got pics squishing almost everything in washington,d.c.!!</p>

<p>If it’s hard to see your face in the squishing white house one, send a second, but otherwise, it’s unnecessary. Great idea!</p>

<p>Yea, was under the impression it was a bodyshot as well. It wouldn’t be a good idea to use if w/o a proper face pic.</p>

<p>yeah, i wouldnt send it either. also, i wouldnt send two pics. to me, and maybe to the adcom, too, it seems like you may not know exactly who you are. plus if they wanted two pics, they would have asked for two. just try to pick one that really shows who you are. i dont think there is too much emphasis on the pics, but when i applied last year, i just gave them a boring senior photo. it didnt show who i really was or anything that i enjoyed doing. (oh, and i was eventually rejected)</p>

<p>Nah don’t crop it bro…those pics always look like one’s trying to hide some past relationship. Describing your position or your attire should be good.</p>

<p>alright one last question…for the guys, would it be alright to attach a pic of yourself w/o a shirt? not to show off or anything, i just have one where i think i look genuinely happy and myself. it just so happened that i wasnt wearing a shirt. thankss</p>

<p>sunniva - i think that’s a great idea. if it shows your personality and what you look like, i say go for it. though, you might want to explain that it is a self portrait or send a photo of yourself along with it.</p>

<p>I agree with jckrsslltrrrmsch’s advice. Setting your self-portrait and a similar picture side by side would definitely stand out positively.</p>

<p>I sent two pics myself… heh… one is me dressed up, reading a speech, and the other is me right after getting out of the shower (weird, but it’s a good picture… and it’s only shoulders and up, don’t worry :p)</p>

<p>Also, I tried adding text, but when I previewed the document, the text was at the bottom of the page, so I deleted it :\ Oh well.</p>
