Camano Island, Washington
The island you can drive onto! Beautiful place.
Thanks for sharing!!
After years of thinking about it my wonderful wife recently started painting. IMO she’s pretty good for a beginner. I’ll post them separately so people can “like” the ones they like.
I’m Liking the ones that are my style. But I love that your wife is exploring her talent and sharing it… so know that I actually like them all with that in mind!! I hope she’s getting a lot of joy out of her artistic expression.
Your wife has skills.
Like wow. I love these. So vivid and fresh.
Keep them coming when she paints more. I love them. Truly.
Well, that just took me down a “map hole”. LOL. I LOVE maps. That part of WA is amazing to me.
An incredible amount of coastline. Lots of waterfront homes.
I’m just hoping the next tsunami is in the distant future.
I also was amazed by the moon yesterday evening on my walk that I took a picture for my family. But then also on my run this morning, you could see the planets trailing quite clearly. A couple of them show in the picture (minus that big light blob)
I want to move to sherpa’s neighborhood, lol. Beautiful!
I did a little photo safari in Balboa Park today; hosted an event within a Meetup to which I belong. Just starting to learn how to use my new camera!
::::::sigh:::::and where is this?
I do wish people would caption their photos.
Marilyn, you did great! Perfect photos.
Thanks very much! I have now found ISO and shutter speed settings; slowly trying to work my way out of Auto.
The Photo Safari was to a large extent a discussion of photo composition, which matches art composition in many respects. I put together a set of guidelines when I first hosted these safaris years ago. Just for fun, here they are:
