<p>I live in NYC (so, really close to Yale, geographically), and I haven’t received my letter yet. Has anyone gotten it yet, or am I just being anxious? Do you guys think that the postal service lost it?</p>

<p>Well, I received my deferral letter in the mail already…lol. But don’t worry about it, I think Yale says to give them until Jan. 5. Anyway, you definitely got in - what do you have to be anxious about? ;)</p>
<p>my son got his acceptance letter delivered on Friday the 18th. I think these letters will be sent over a period of time. The Yale acceptance web-site FAQ section suggests December 29, 2009 as the date after which you should contact them if you haven’t received the acceptance package.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry about this.</p>
