I’m looking to apply to NYU’s Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy). Looking at the requirements, they are not quite straight forward. First, the website simply states that Biology I and Biology II are required, but there is no mention as to what biology classes they are specifically looking for. Also, the website says Physiology is required, however my college only offers Introduction to Physiology. Is this enough? I feel like a physical therapy program would want some more in-depth physiology prerequisites.

Finally, my main question is regarding the credit system. The website says each course must be 4 credits, but at my college each course is only 3 credits. Does it say 4 because the lab is one credit (making four)?

Thank you for the help! Here is the website that lists the requirements: http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/pt/dpt/admission
