Physics 2207 Curve

Does anyone who has taken Physics 2207 with Professor Liepe know if the class is curved?

He said that the individual exams are not curved, but I find it hard to believe that the class has a median grade of a B+ without some sort of curve.

The prelims/final is not curved.
Your class grade is not exclusively based on prelims/final. You should easily get around 30-35% of your main grade from everything else where you can do on your own pace and get it correct, like the Discussion quizzes which are curved and 90-100% lab/problem sets grades which helps with preventing a failing grade.
On exams, most of the points on the exams are from partial credit on prelims/finals which adds up. So out of the 100 points on a prelim, 50 pts can be from having correct answers + work, and 15-25 from partial credit points, from having the work set up at least, adding up from the other half of the questions. As long as no question was left blank, getting a B is manageable.
And you only took one prelim. The next prelim will be on different topics which may be relatively different in difficulty (easier/harder) for different people. The final is gonna to have mostly the same kinds of questions from the first two prelims with an additional 3-ish topics. Most of the questions will not look that different from the previous prelims and just require plugging in and such.
