Are we responsible for phasor diagrams? I don’t remember the Prof talking about it but it’s in the book.

i didn’t know how to do #1 :(

everything else was really easy tho i thought…

Same here. I thought everything else was pretty easy. I messed up on the magnitude of the E and B for number 2… stupid mistake
I figured something out for 1 but I wasn’t sure it was right.

wasn’t #2 just E=cB?

and didn’t they only want the magnitude of E and not B? lol

Yeah stupid mistake on my part. E=cB should be right. I realized right after I turned in my test.

t0m0 did u get #1? what were (c) and (d)? was c the resonsnat frequency 1/sqrt(LC)?

I felt like the answer for c was really complicated because you had to use your answer from part a. Instantaneous power was (I^2)R for part B, so if we wanted to get a maximum, the inside of the cosine function needs to be zero (cos0=1). In order to do that, the calculation was really complicated… since Zettl suggested that we only need to discuss the physical concepts, I just explained that.

But once again, I’m not really sure if this is right.

For d, I completely guessed, but I felt the question was way too vague…

solutions are up, got owned on #1 for sure

the means gonna be so high

i’m guessing around 75…

% that is lol

how much of chapter 35 do we need to know for the final? the material seems quite incomprehensible…at least to me!

wuts chapter 35

quantum mechanics
it has some pretttty weird equations and concepts…idk if he covered that in lecture
