Physics AP Credit Help

I got a 4 on AP Physics B which grants me credit for PHYS 121 and Phys 122. Each class is 4 credits so I get 8 credits. I know this sounds dumb, but i just want to verify: If my CORE requirements for sciences are Lab (4 credits) and Lab/NonLab (3 or 4 credits), then I do not have to take any CORE science classes? Is this correct? Thanks for your help.

"Sciences and Mathematics
At least 10 credits, 3 courses "

[CORE Liberal Arts and Sciences Studies Program - Distributive Studies](http://www.ugst.umd.edu/core/elements/DistrSt.html)

As long as you will be taking (or getting AP credit for) a CORE mathematics class, you’ll have met what you need for this requirement of CORE.

Congrats!
