Physics C easier than Physics B?

I keep hearing this…why?

I mean, one involves Calculus and the other one involves simpler math, so why?

From what I understand, this is typically said because AP Physics B covers many topics while the Physics C’s cover less, which is all related, and the calculus is pretty simple. In fact, I think AP Physics B might be easier if it was done in Calculus.

Physics B covers more material while physics C is more math heavy. Or so I’ve heard. In any case, the calculus/math in general in HS physics isn’t difficult.

surface integrals anyone?

Gauss’s law, yes, is a popular topic in Physics C

My teacher gave us a no-calculator test the other day using euler’s method from 0 to 50 with a step of 0.1… go physics c!
