I’m looking for some input regarding the quality of the physics/comp sci programs at these schools. As of now I’m thinking about double majoring in physics and computer science. Any input you might have would be great. Thanks!
None of these would be considered physics or CS powerhouses. That said, at the undergrad level, all of them are excellent overall… go for the overall best fit.
Thank you.
CS at Dartmouth is phenomenal.
source: currently a student there with friends that are CS majors
Look into it further on your own, but I would think you’d want a school where comp sci is in the A&S and not engineering. Achieving 2 science majors in A&S seems more doable than one in engineering and one in A&S. In other words, at ND, comp sci is in the engineering school. You’d have to balance the requirements of each school. At BC, comp sci and physics are both in A&S.
Just something to consider and look into.
Phoenix- I just looked into that and Tufts has comp sci in a&s as well. Thanks for the tip!
Oberyn-Do you happen to know how the physics department compares to CS?

@phoenixmomof2 thank you!
