Physics Formula explanation

Hi. So I recently started using princeton review to refresh my memory of physics for the subject test in october. Out of nowhere, the book uses formulas to solve problems that it hadn’t previously explained. So what is the following formula for and what is its respective name?

v=2(pi)r/t

Thank you so much

2(pi)r is length of the circle with radius r. T is period (time that object needs to do one full lap). Basically it is the same formula as V=S/t where S is 2(pi)r time is period.

Yeah, it’s basically the average speed of a particle revolving around a circle with radius r and period t.
