Which would be harder to four point? Any suggestions for professors?

^I would say lyman briggs is harder to 4.0 (some professors will likely tell you right off the bat that they really don’t give 4.0s). Physics is not easy to 4.0 period. College is not easy to 4.0 either…not like high school. As for professors, look on ALLMSU.com. That’s where most students rate profs at MSU

^I’m curious, have you taken physics through LB? I took the departmental sequence. It wasn’t hard as say like, biochemistry is hard, it’s just bothersome.

lol no sorry I’m just getting this from my friends who have taken normal physics vs. lyman briggs classes. I keep away from all science/math classes if I can help it :P

Thought so. Most LB students tend to get this attitude that their classes are harder than the those of the normal university students. I don’t know if there is any merit in their beliefs because they have not taken the departmental courses.

^yeah I’m not really sure about that one either. We have the same opinions within James Madison College (that our classes are harder in comparison to poli sci/regular dept classes) but I am positive that is true for the most part… with different subject, focus & priorities in comparison. I have no idea if that is the case for Lyman briggs vs. science departmental classes because I am not in either. Bottom line - physics is not an easy subject (whether you are in LB or not) and unless you work your butt off you won’t get a 4.0 either way. It also greatly depends on the prof you end up getting…some are easier graders than others.
