I was recently accepted into a physics research program down in Texas that brings along a nice bit of money. However, for awhile now I’ve been thinking about switching to engineering, specifically chemical. I would stay and go to Montana State University for engineering and I was wondering if I could get some input as to what exactly a chemE major is like. Or if I’m being a foolish, foolish sucker and falling into a large trap. Thanks!

Here’s one pundit’s views on switching from Physics th ChemEng.
