I recently found a set of videos called “The Mechanical Universe” online. Apparently, these videos were originally made in Caltech in 1985. Can anyone tell me what class these videos were taken from and if this professor is still around? The address is : http://www.free-ed.net/free-ed/Science/Physics/Physics04_VidLect.asp

I don’t think that they were made formally for a class, but the professor who directed them (Prof. Goodstein) still teaches Ph1a.

If I’m not mistaken, those were videotaped Physics 1 lectures. Professor Goodstein still teaches Physics 1a (but not the second or third term b/c).

^ Mike, TMU is an animated video series. They showed clips of it in Ph1a, but I think it was produced for PBS or something.
