Literally, a big fat juicy from scratch apple pie just went in the oven. Made by D2 and her boyfriend who loves to make pies! Macerated the apples for 3 hours - so much juice!
It’s our favorite holiday! (All nerds here.)
For dinner, we’re having quiche and then peanut butter pie.
I made a quiche before I even remembered it was Pi Day!
Pie dinner and dessert! Good move, @milee30!
I did also make a frittata this morning! Sort of a pie, right?!
A crustless pie.
We got a dozen “Pi Day” mini pies with the Pi symbol in the middle, from a super cute pie baker.
There are only two of us at home, but I made half a pi with frozen sour cherries I got form the farmer’s market last summer the two weeks they are in season. We have a nice dessert wine which may or may not go with it.
D2 made us a blueberry pie for pi day!
Baked a frozen Marie Callender’s dutch apple pie…easy and delicious!
I was going to make a lemon pie but didn’t have all the ingredients and the stores I went to were out of eggs and whipping cream. So I bought a frozen Marie Callender’s cherry pie and vanilla ice cream. There didn’t seem to be any shortage of desserts!
Baked a cherry pie. ?
Dessert last night was “apple pie for two” shared by 4. Yum.
