Piatigorsky International Cello Festival to Be Held at USC

<p>The University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and the Los Angeles Philharmonic will join with The Colburn School and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra to bring together masters of the cello and young gifted cellists from around the world for a unique celebration of the instrument. Twelve countries will be represented.</p>

<p>The festival will take place March 9-18, 2012. The artistic director will be Ralph Kirshbaum. Narrator will be John Rubinstein. Conductors for the festival are Neeme Jarvi, Courtney Lewis and Hugh Wolff.</p>
