Just saw they added some outdoor courts here. I have never played it but it looks fun. Supposed to be for retirees, but the videos I saw were mixed ages.
They have started some teams here for people 50 and older. Mostly men though.
It’s really for all ages… I’ve played several times and really enjoyed it! I’ve seen young kids playing-they were quite good! I’ve seen 80 year olds play who were also quite good! I’ve seen tennis pros play on a regular basis and they are now ranked pickleball players. It’s pretty easy to learn and really needs minimal equipment. Give it a try!
The google news clip I saw here had about equal men and women playing.
I’ve also seen about an equal number of men and women playing…it’s nice because it’s easy to play with a mix of both. No big serves or overheads…
