Watsup…

My name is Jeremy. I live in South Florida and at the moment as attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Next year will be my senior year in high school, the year I will be making probably one of the most important decisions in my life. I understand that which college I choose can and probably will have a dramatic effect of my future, so I want to make sure I pick the right one. Here are my ‘stats:’

GPA: 3.6 (Unweighted)
SAT: 1290 ( 630 - Critical Reading ; 660 - Math )
EC: Junior Varsity - 10 ; Young Voters Club - 11

Basically, since I qualify for 100% ‘Bright Futures’ scholarship, my parents would really prefer me to take advantage of it; there are a few other irrelevant reasons.

I’m not one hundred percent positive on what I’d like to do career-wise, but things I’m looking into and are strongly considering include: Computer Science ( something either with the government or in a field of video game programming and design ), photography and/or something ‘art’ related, annnnnnd oneironautics ( the study of dreams and, particularly, lucid dreaming ). Also, I want to make sure I do something that pays very well because I plan on traveling and seeing the world when I get ‘of age;’ even if it requires further education.

Here’s another big thing for me: I want the college to be in a large interesting city with a … and I know this will be tough for a lot of people to answer … good ska and punk music scene.

I’ve visited two campuses ( USF and UCF ) and was impressed by both. Campuses aren’t a definite deal breaker for me; it is more the surrounding area that has to satisfy me.

It’s a tough check list I know, but if anyone could help me and give me some suggestions and ideas I would REALLY appreciate it and forever be in your debt!
