Anyone know of any photos of the old campus dorms? I didn’t really know what I was looking at when I visited last summer.

Tons of photos here (although not of the insides): http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.PortWe…=ComplexCollect

This is one side of Old Campus: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portweb?quickfind=BLDG1_Old-campus-ext.jpg&template=Preview&catalog=web

And Vanderbilt Hall, on another end: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portweb?quickfind=BLDG2_Vanderbilt-Hall.jpg&template=Preview&catalog=web

A section of the quad itself: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portweb?quickfind=IOY2_walking_through_campus.jpg&template=Preview&catalog=web

Commons dining hall, where most frosh eat: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portweb?quickfind=BLDG2_Commons.jpg&template=Preview&catalog=web

The colleges are there, too. For instance, Berkeley: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portwe...iew&catalog=web

Branford: http://files.pubaf.yale.edu/.portwe...iew&catalog=web

I have pics of my son’s dorm room- when he moved in i.e. - still clean :)

I don’t have them loaded up on any site, so if you’d like to see them just P/M me and I’ll e-mail them back to you via e-mail. FYI, I’ll be out of town from Sunday to Friday (April 30th) so if you request them between that time, just so you know I’ll reply after I get back.

The one that I was in during Bulldog Days was really nice. It had a decent-sized common room, wood paneling, and a fireplace (that doesn’t work, but it looks nice anyway). Also, an emergency exit (alarm is supposed to go off when opened, but it doesn’t) connects one suite in an entryway to another suite in the adjacent entryway, so it’s living living in one huge suite with 8 or more people.

The one I was in on Bulldog Days wasn’t as nice. I stayed in LW, which is supposed to be the worst housing on campus, though. The bedrooms were really small with bunk beds, but the common living area was nicer.

I stayed in Durfee during Bulldog Days. How well does it compare to the other freshman halls?

I was in Durfee, too. Durfee (and it’s corresponding college, Morse) supposedly has some of the nicest housing on campus.
