I’ve just learned of the existence of this school, which is a very small (~50 students total, K-12) school for gifted students. It’s fairly new, and has connections to St. Ann’s in Brooklyn. Does anyone here have any experience with the school?

I never heard of it … and it’s in my neighborhood so to speak so I looked it up. Sounds like a very interesting place … very small … with lots of the faculty wearing many hats. It’s located just out of downtown Westport, not walkable to the train station though.

If you were looking at independent Westport schools, I would also look at GreensFarms which is larger, but academically challenging.

Is this a boarding school??

Neither of them are boarding schools.

St. Lukes is also a good bet to check on. About as academically challenging as Greenfarms but with nicer girls :)

Thanks for the tips - yes, the school is VERY small. But it looks interesting. I’ll look into the other schools, too.

It is really an amazing place for the right kid, the academic intensity is unmatched. Feel free to email me (or post here, I will try to check) with any specific questions.
