Ok, I’m doing this for my D who is out of town. So far it looks ok, but I just noticed an instruction about getting a pin from an advisor. Can anyone comment on this?

only if its a special class where you need confirmation from duke in order to enroll. with the general classes and classes you have AP credit for you do not need a PIN

That’s odd, I don’t remember needing a PIN to register for the first semester. Only later semesters. If you did, you should have received something in the mail.

From the ACES main menu, click the registration button. On that page that lists the terms (ie Fall 2008), below the term listings is there a blank for entering a PIN? If there is, then you need one, if it’s not there, then you shouldn’t need a PIN.

Thanks all. The Blue Book doesn’t say anything about it; Just some instructions on the ACES site. Unforunately I don’t think I can access registration until the window opens and that would be a little late…

Oh wait…yes I can…and I see a full class…but not in the primary bag…yay…and no spot for a pin.Thanks.

Done! And no PIN number needed! Thanks all.
