Pingry 4th grade admissions - ISEE Primary 4 scores

Hello,

This is my first time using this forum, so kindly suggest if I am not in the right category. We applied to Pingry 4th grade admission. While my child has a decent extra curricular activities and teacher recommendations our ISEE scores are reading 5 and maths 7; is that too low for Pingry? would that be a show stopper? Appreciate any inputs.

They look for scores in the range of 7-9 and they routinely reject children with high scores. A 5 in reading is likely a show stopper.
