this is a reallyyyy long title, but i was wondering:
i think i may be going to pitt for a myriad of reasons, but i was wondering, from anyone that goes to pitt (or cmu) now, what kind of opportunities for undergraduates at Pitt to do research/study at CMU?
right now I am aware of two programs:
-
special research at the Center for Neural Basis of Cognition, the joint Pitt-CMU program where undergrads may have a teeny shot at research/fellowships
-
cross-registering at taking classes at CMU (but, they have to be classes that pitt doesn’t offer)
I wouldn’t go to CMU simply because of the high cost even if I got in, but if I am staying in Pittsburgh, I’d love to take advantage of any crossover opportunities from these two amazing schools. Does anyone know of any other programs?
