<p>Has anybody come across any really good discounted hotel rates when visiting Pitt? I’ve done the airport and Monroeville but would like to get closer to the University or downtown on my next visit.</p>

<p>I’ve done hotwire - at least if you have the choice of a 3 star, you know it will be either the Wyndham or the Hilton Garden, usually $100-$120 still.</p>
