<p>anybody in this program at pitt that could tell me what its all about? im trying to find if I can do a seven yr program at Pitt where I get my engineering degree joined with a PhD or MD. It’s a little confusing on their website…any help would be appreciated</p>
<p>You’re in high school, right? In order to get into an MD/PhD program you would need to apply as a college junior (and only then if you know you want a research career). An MD/PhD would be 4 years of college + at least 7 years to get both the MD and PhD. </p>
<p>Perhaps you really mean the School of Medicine guarantee (which is 4 years of Pitt undergrad and then 4 years of Pitt Med)?</p>
